Job Responsibilities for API Certification Role:API Certification Process: Understanding that obtaining API certification is a lengthy and complex process, taking approximately 24 to 36 months. It requires extensive documentation, employee training, reports, and audits.Collaboration with Consultant: Work closely with an independent, highly qualified consultant who has many years of experience in API audits. This consultant has been hired to guide the company through the certification process. The candidate must liaise between the consultant, company management, and employees to ensure timely completion of all required tasks.Documentation and Reporting: The candidate should be meticulous in preparing and maintaining documentation, reports, and presentations as required for the certification process. This includes audit trails and compliance records to ensure readiness for official API audits.Compliance Evaluation: Review the company’s existing policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with API standards. This includes identifying gaps and working to implement necessary adjustments.Corrective Action Plans: Collaborate with the organization to develop, monitor, and track corrective action plans, ensuring any non-conformities are addressed effectively.Training and Meetings: Organize training programs and meetings as advised by the consultant. The candidate is responsible for ensuring timely execution and the attendance of required personnel for these sessions.Tendering & Sourcing Role: Tendering Team Participation: The candidate will actively be part of the tendering team, supporting various aspects of the tendering process.Tender Search & Identification: Responsible for understanding the product requirements and searching for relevant tenders on platforms such as GEM, OIL, ONGC, Cairn, and GAIL.Tender Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including technical specifications, Bid Evaluation Criteria (BEC), proformas, and required undertakings.Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous and thorough in the preparation and review of documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with tender requirementsDocument Management:Organize and maintain all tender-related documents in both hard copy and soft copy formats.Ensure proper filing, labeling, and easy retrieval of documents.Support in Sourcing: Assist the sourcing manager in identifying and evaluating technical data sheets of products for tender submissions, ensuring they meet the necessary specifications.
