JOB DETAILS
The Event Planner is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of weddings. This role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure that all aspects of the wedding event are flawlessly executed. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation:
Meet with clients to discuss their vision, budget, and requirements for the wedding.
Provide expert advice and suggestions to help clients achieve their desired outcome.
Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed wedding plans and timelines.
Coordinate with vendors, including caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainment.
Arrange venue visits and manage bookings.
Budget Management:
Assist clients in developing and managing their wedding budget.
Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with trusted vendors.
Ensure vendors adhere to agreed terms and deliverables.
Event Logistics:
Oversee the setup and breakdown of the wedding venue.
Manage on-site logistics, including seating arrangements, lighting, and décor.
Ensure the smooth flow of the event according to the schedule.
Team Supervision:
Lead and coordinate the event staff and volunteers.
Provide clear instructions and support to ensure everyone understands their roles.
Crisis Management:
Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the event.
Ensure contingency plans are in place and executed as needed.
Post-Event Duties:
Conduct post-event evaluations with clients.
Gather feedback to improve future events.
Manage final billing and ensure all payments are processed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wedding or event planning.
Proven track record of successful wedding event management.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
Creative problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and a high standard of quality.

Education:
