JOB DETAILS             
The Livelihood and Disaster Response Specialist will lead initiatives in
agriculture development, Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) formation, disaster response
preparedness, and climate-smart program implementation. This role requires expertise in
agricultural practices, disaster risk management, and government scheme implementation in
rural communities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Facilitate the formation and strengthening of Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) in
the targeted village committee with clear targets defined.
Providing access to information and resources to keep in place with latest
development in agriculture and related field for the FPO.
Work closely which the district agriculture officer and implement every program after
concurrence of the DAO.
Using climate friendly methodology to develop agriculture in the villages and
documentation of the impact with verifiable data is an important aspect of the role.
Accessing government schemes subsidies loans for FPO’s with agreed targets for each
year are to be part of the networking initiative.
To promote PIP and ensure the outcomes of the PIP programmes are fulfilled with
appropriate documentation of the same.
To prepare the committee practically in response to disasters. Working closely with
the disaster risk management.
To help committee develop resilient in adverse situation of disaster.
To develop a task force in village to response to disaster that are probable and
mitigation plans.
Climate smart programmes are to be implemented by this role.
