JOB DETAILS             
The Sales Manager will drive the growth of our product lines in modern retail, quick commerce, and pharmacy chains across India. We seek a candidate with existing relationships in these sectors and a proven track record in successfully placing and expanding FMCG or hygiene products in retail environments. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-oriented professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Channel Development:
Identify, target, and secure product placements in key retail chains, including supermarkets, pharmacy chains, and quick-commerce platforms.
Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers in modern retail, pharmacy, and quick-commerce channels to drive placements and secure prime shelf space.
Account Management & Expansion:
Develop and execute account strategies to expand and maximize product listings, visibility, and sales in each channel.
Collaborate closely with buyers, merchandisers, and other stakeholders to maintain strong, profitable partnerships.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Lead the execution of sales strategies tailored to each retail channel, focusing on product education, brand value, and competitive positioning.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
Promotion and Marketing Coordination:
Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement in-store promotions, product displays, and digital ad support.
Coordinate with quick-commerce platforms to ensure effective placement and visibility of products within their inventory.
Forecasting and Reporting:
Provide accurate sales forecasts and progress reports, tracking KPIs and measuring the impact of sales initiatives.
Present insights and recommendations to the leadership team, helping to shape product distribution strategies and ensure effective resource allocation.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales or business development within the hygiene or FMCG sectors, with demonstrated success in managing retail, pharmacy, or quick-commerce accounts.
Network: Strong existing connections with retail chains, pharmacy buyers, and quick-commerce platforms in the hygiene or FMCG space.
Skills: Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills; a strong communicator able to represent the brand professionally and build trusted relationships.
Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to drive growth and achieve sales targets, with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
Knowledge of Retail Market: In-depth knowledge of the Indian retail landscape, including current trends in modern trade and consumer expectations.

Preferred Qualities:
Experience in bringing new products or brands to market, particularly in personal care or hygiene categories.
Understanding of e-commerce and quick-commerce dynamics and strategies.
Familiarity with eco-friendly or sustainable products in the hygiene/FMCG space.
