JOB DETAILS
The Wedding Event Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing
weddings and related events. They work closely with clients to understand
their vision and requirements, and then manage all aspects of the event
planning process to ensure a successful and memorable wedding experience.
The Wedding Event Executive must possess excellent organisational skills, attention
to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. They
should have a strong understanding of wedding trends, traditions, and etiquette.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their wedding vision, budget,
and specific requirements. Understand their preferences for venues,
themes, decor, catering, entertainment, and other related services.
Planning and Coordination: Develop a comprehensive wedding plan, including
timelines, budgets, vendor selection, and negotiations. Coordinate
all aspects of the event.
Labour Management: Getting work done by Flower team, Decoration Team
as per design.
Vendor Management: Research, select, and manage vendors, including Led
Lights, Generator, and other service providers. Collaborate with vendors to
ensure they understand the client's expectations and deliver high-quality
services.
Budget Management: Create and maintain budgets for each wedding
project, ensuring cost-effective solutions while meeting client expectations.
Track expenses, review invoices, and negotiate pricing with vendors
to maximise value.
Event Design and Styling: Collaborate with clients to design the overall
look and feel of the wedding, including theme, colour schemes, decor, and
floral arrangements. Offer creative suggestions and innovative ideas to
enhance the wedding experience.
On-site Event Execution: Oversee the setup, coordination, and execution of
the wedding day. Ensure all vendors are informed of their roles and responsibilities,
and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure the smooth flow of the
wedding day activities.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback
from clients and guests. Identify areas of improvement and implement
changes for future weddings. Maintain relationships with clients for potential
referrals and future business opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in wedding planning or event management.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of wedding trends, traditions, and etiquette.
• Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
